Pyjamas & comfortable clothes are encouraged!
Kicking off the programme will be Alice Wu’s 2004 romcom Saving Face, which follows daughter, Chinese-American surgeon, and closeted lesbian Wilhelmina and her unwed & recently pregnant mother, Hwei-Lan. Drama and comedy unfold as the two begin living together, while
their hidden identities come into the light.
After a short break, we jump into our second romcom of the night, Maria Maggenti’s 1995 film
